Math Workshop for CSV Volunteers at All Grade Levels (K–12)
Description
Please join us for an interactive Math workshop that will help new and experienced tutors understand how to engage students in mathematical thinking, build confidence, and develop problem solving skills.
After attending this workshop, tutors will be able to:
- Reflect on the purposes and functions of relationship building and explore their own math
experiences and identity markers;
- Expand/refresh the repertoire of resources that support math learning.
Led by Marisa Berenbaum, Middle School Instructional Math Coach, Cambridge Street Upper School.
Open to volunteers at all grade levels (K-12)
