An evening of Maths Play
Event description
Come along for an evening of playful mathematics activities that can be enjoyed by people of all mathematics experiences.
The evening will include opportunities to create beautiful designs, explore patterns, and play games.

Alex Box, Primary Educator, Education Researcher and Project Manager at mathsplay.org.
Alex identifies as a 'formerly maths-anxious student and teacher' who has become passionate about opening up maths in ways that allow more interesting, creative and empowering experiences. Alex is the founder of Maths Play, a community research project collaborating with teachers, schools and other organisations and individuals to better understand what it means to learn through play, and use these understandings to reunite mathematics with play.
