A new girl is arriving at Loreto in November!

Matilda The Musical

26–28 November 2026 | Loreto College Marryatville

Loreto College proudly presents Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, the multi-award-winning musical from Dennis Kelly and Tim Minchin, inspired by Roald Dahl’s much-loved story.

Surrounded by larger-than-life characters from the formidable Miss Trunchbull and the wonderfully kind Miss Honey, to Matilda’s hilariously dreadful parents, she discovers that even the smallest person can make an enormous difference.

Bursting with unforgettable songs, energetic choreography, humour and heart, Matilda The Musical is a joyous celebration of courage, imagination and the power of an extraordinary little girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her own destiny.

Featuring a talented ensemble of over sixty Loreto College students, this full-scale production promises an exhilarating evening of theatre for the whole family.
