SEASON 2: Bad Boy Bubby

Season 2 ends with Rolf de Heer's Bad Boy Bubby. His mum kept him captive in a room for 35 years. Now, he's out and about in the real world. Beautiful, bonkers.

You'll be gobsmacked, upset, and deeply moved. De Heer shot it with 32 different cinematographers--one for each new location Bubby finds himself in. This won the Grand Jury prize at Venice in 1993; clearly, those who didn't leave the cinema in shock loved it.

Bad Boy Bubby is rated R18+ and contains sexual abuse, violence, and confronting content.
