Matriarch Circle

Matriarch; A woman who is the head of a family or tribe

Mothers, grandmothers, and Elders. We invite you into a space unique in our times but remembered in our bones, our blood and our hearts. It is a space where you are wanted, seen, heard, and respected not just as a woman but as a leader.

We will gather in a small, intimate setting where children and babies are welcomed. Older women are revered. Young women who have not yet become mothers are at service.

We will collectively remember how to honour our Matriarchs.

This is a creative, exploratory and intuitive space designed uniquely with and by the women and Matriarchs who join. Some topics we may delve into include:

Sacred rites of passage: menstruation, birth and menopause.

Living in tune with natural rhythms

Decolonising ways of thinking and being

Acts of service and devotion

Healing tea and snacks included.

About Me

My name is Charlotte and I'm a mother to Iris. I'm not usually a fan of labels, but to different people I may be called an artist, activist, healer or menstrual health advocate.

As I transitioned into becoming a mother, my desire to gather with and learn from older women grew. I noticed that mothers and older women are some of the most isolated in our communities, despite their wisdom, selflessness and love. This work is my personal way of inviting their wisdom back into its rightful place.
