Matsuri Japan Festival Sydney is a vibrant celebration of Japanese culture, bringing together traditional and contemporary Japanese food, music, dance, performances, arts and community.
Join us on Sunday, 6 December 2026 at Wentworth Park Sporting Complex for a full day of Japanese culture and entertainment as we celebrate 50 years of Japan–Australia friendship.
Whether you're a long-time fan of Japanese culture or discovering Matsuri for the first time, everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the festival with family and friends.

Children aged 4 and under can enter free of charge.
Seniors Card, Health Care Card and Concession Card holders must present a valid card at the entrance.
Companion Card holders can enter free of charge upon presentation of a valid Companion Card at the entrance.
Free admission is available to visitors wearing Japanese attire or cosplay, subject to confirmation at the entrance.
Tickets are non-refundable.
