Matt & Pip's Highland Dinner in aid of Action Against Hunger UK
Description
645 million people go to bed hungry every night. But hunger isn't inevitable. It's predictable, preventable, and treatable.
That's why Spruce's Head Chef, Matt Heeley, and friend and fellow chef Pip Lacey, recently took on Ride Against Hunger, cycling over 300km and climbing close to 6,000m through the French Pyrenees, to raise funds for Action Against Hunger.
Together, they’ve already raised almost £8,000 towards their £10,000 target. With the cycling complete, they’re swapping their bikes for the kitchen to help raise the final £2,000.
~
On Friday 2nd October, Matt and Pip will retire their cycling jerseys and pull their chef whites back on to host a special dinner at Spruce at Newhall Mains, to celebrate completing the challenge and help them reach their fundraising target.
Guests will enjoy a six-course Highland dinner, and every ticket sold will help support Action Against Hunger's work tackling hunger and malnutrition around the world
Tickets cost £90 per person, or £150 per person including a wine pairing.
