Mattress Muster - October 2025

Free mattress drop-off! Saturday October 11, 8am - 11am

The City of Greater Bendigo’s free Mattress Muster provides an opportunity to drop off one mattress for recycling for free! Innerspring, foam and latex mattresses of all sizes will be accepted.

Bookings are essential and must be made by Thursday October 9, unless fully booked prior.

Places are only open to Greater Bendigo residents and are limited to one per household. This event is likely to sell out so book early and be prepared to queue while mattresses are unloaded on the day.

Drop-off will be contactless, and your details will be confirmed when you enter. Due to occupational health and safety requirements, our staff are unable to assist with unloading your mattress. Please ensure a minimum of two people attend to unload your mattress safely.

Please note that mattress recycling is available year-round at City Recycling Centres for around $40 per mattress.

Eligibility

Strict limits of 1 registration per household apply. Multiple or duplicate registrations will be cancelled and reallocated. If you have more than one mattress, please visit one of our Recycling Centres or the Eaglehawk Recycle Shop to take any additional mattresses. Charges apply.

Only City of Greater Bendigo residents can register for this event. You will be required to provide your address during the registration process.
