Event description

Spring is the best time of the year to enjoy the native blooms of Bendigo's bushland environments. Come along for a gentle stroll through the Junortoun Flora and Fauna Reserve to look for wattles, heaths, orchids and everything in between.

Meeting point: O'Keefe Rail Trail at Wilkie Road, between McIvor Hwy and Trotting Terrace. Parking is available next to the trail. We will then walk as a group to the Reserve.

What to bring: This is an outdoor event so wear weather-appropriate clothing and enclosed shoes. Bring water, a hat and binoculars if you would like to do some birdwatching.

Want help identifying plants and animals that you see? Download iNaturalist and practice recording and identifying your observations during this event.
