Yupo Next Steps Workshop

Event Description:

If you have used yupo or have completed the beginners class, you can take your yupo painting skills to the next level in this workshop. Maxine will step you through some more challenging exercises and increase your range of skills using different mediums. This workshop will provide all the tips and tricks required to master this fantastic medium.

What to bring:

A flat surface to work on: a board or a piece of heavy cardboard is fine (QAS has some available for workshop participants)

Watercolours in tubes (your choice of colour)

Paint brushes

Cotton buds

Box of tissues and a bag for used ones

Spray bottle with water

Old towel

2 water containers for paint brushes

Old toothbrush

Yupo paper will be provided

Who will be teaching:

Maxine is a multi award winning artist, painting almost exclusively on Yupo for the last 10 years. Her artwork was featured in the American online magazine Monologing.org, illustrating correspondence between two poets .
