We are committed to making eTown accessible to all. If you have ADA needs or require accommodations, please contact us in advance, and we will gladly work with you to ensure a comfortable experience.

With every eTown ticket purchase, you're supporting the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. eTown donates $1 per ticket to Conscious Alliance, aiding hunger relief, youth programs and sustainable solutions for the Oglala Lakota Nation.

More than just a regular concert, eTown Radio Tapings are a unique live experience! The show includes performances and interviews with both of our visiting artists, and an interview segment with changemakers from our local and national community who are doing their part to make the world a better place. As an attendee, you serve as a vital part of our eTown show, which will be broadcast across the country on our affiliate radio stations and all streaming platforms. Listen for your cheers on the radio, and to hear how it all comes together, in just a few weeks following the night!

Cell phone use, photos (from phones and professional cameras), and audio and video recording are all strictly prohibited during the radio taping. Thanks for your understanding, and for your help in allowing the artists and audience to be present for this special evening together!

About Hiss Golden Messenger:

Hiss Golden Messenger is the long-running musical project led by North Carolina-based singer, songwriter and producer M.C. Taylor. The project has evolved over the last decade into one of the most respected and celebrated in contemporary Americana, blending folk, country, soul and gospel influences with deeply introspective, poetic, and conscious songwriting. M.C. is our Artist-in-Residence during this Live Taping.

Across multiple critically acclaimed, Grammy-nominated albums, Hiss Golden Messenger has become known for its warmth and emotional clarity, as well as Taylor’s ability to connect the personal and poetic with the political without losing intimacy or musical grace.

The forthcoming I’m People continues this trajectory, offering a reflective collection of songs that speaks to resilience, community, radical hopefulness, and the quiet human moments that animate and illuminate the everyday. It is among M.C.'s greatest and most profound work.

Hiss Golden Messenger sits naturally alongside artists and releases that value craft, storytelling, and authenticity, and aligns well with audiences attuned to indie, folk, Americana, roots and contemporary country music.

About Emily Nenni:

Emily Nenni and Movin’ Shoes is all about the right fit. Made in Memphis, the Nashville based singer-songwriter’s fourth full length album is as much about dancing as following the steps of understanding and respect. Emily’s songs reflect her solicitude, but are much more soulful in this setting, taking inspiration from the many impassioned performers of the region, to 60’s girl groups and honky tonk heroes.

Pairing once again with producer John James Tourville (The Deslondes), Movin’ Shoes was cut at Matt -Ross-Spang’s new Southern Grooves studio. The 13 tracks tie up nicely with added covers from Paul Simon, Delbert McClinton and Cass Elliott.

Movin’ Shoes will be released on May 1st via New West Records.
