About The Pickpockets:

As bluegrass continues to grow and bend as a genre, The Pickpockets are at the forefront, pushing the unique roots of their sound and jams into new territories. The four-piece string band from Salt Lake City takes you into an inviting world of heartfelt lyrics, catchy melodies and gripping solos. Their original compositions can be heard shining in their most recent album Beyond The Hills in addition to multiple other releases over the years. Having no shortage of new material, the band is working on another full length album as they tour around the Western US playing for electric audiences. Their expansive repertoire and ever-growing sound draws global inspiration; from reggae, to funk, to traditional and newgrass styles, they consistently create new grooves and genres to get lost in. 

The Pickpockets have played notable shows with Leftover Salmon, The Kitchen Dwellers, Mountain Grass Unit, Brothers Comatose, The Fretliners, Pixie and the Partygrass Boys, and many others at some of the best venues in the west. Taking the main stage at Festivals like Palisade Bluegrass Bash, The Ogden Music Festival, 4 Peaks Music Festival, Planet V and Creekside Revival, they continue to impress audiences with their uplifting sound.
