Event description

Join us for an immersive and hands-on four week art therapy group that will invite your curiosity to play and create, and support your mental health and wellbeing.

Art Therapy for Wellbeing is a four week art therapy group facilitated by registered expressive arts therapist, Rosette Rouhana. This group will run on May 11th, 18th, 25th, and June 1st from 2-4pm.

Over the four weeks, Rosette will guide you through different art directives that will encourage you to explore a variety of art mediums; gain insight into feelings, thoughts and emotions; and to guide you towards creating a deeper relationship with yourself through creative expression.

This group aims to support mental health and wellbeing. Please bear in mind that this is not an art class, and no prior experience with art materials is required whatsoever.

The group is limited to six people to ensure a safe and protected space is created for you to explore as deeply as need be. The group will run for two hours, with a break in between to reset, and stretch the body.

Rosette Rouhana is a dedicated arts therapist with a rich educational background, including a Bachelor of Arts Therapy, a Certificate IV in Mental Health, and ongoing studies for her Masters in Mental Health Arts Therapy. With registrations from PACFA and ANZACATA, she adheres to their high standards of ethics and practice. Rosette's approach as an integrative and expressive arts therapist is to create a nurturing environment for clients, offering empathy and guidance throughout their journey.

If you have any questions, email Rosette at rosetterouhana@gmail.com.
