    Event description

Join Nat Mallia this month as she's guides you through a Calm Abiding Meditation, followed by a talk on Balancing Compassion and Wisdom.

When we find ourselves divided between our heart and our mind, we can turn to the Buddhist teachings to understand how to cultivate both wisdom and compassion.

Sometimes it can become confusing how best to practice compassion, but during this talk, Nat will share how Buddhism teaches us the importance of balancing compassion with wisdom to strike the right balance.

When we balance both wisdom and compassion we are able to strengthen our relationships, our boundaries and even be kinder to ourselves.

This meditation and talk is suitable for beginners, and also for experienced meditators who wish to enhance their practice. You are welcome to sit on a cushion or chair.

The entry is free, but donations are welcome to help us continue to offer classes and workshops, and periodically invite Tibetan Buddhist teachers to give teachings. The suggested donation for a session is $10.

You are welcome to stay afterwards for a cuppa and chat, and if you can, please bring along something to share for morning tea. We look forward to seeing you there!
