This is for our followers who loved ‘Silent Book Club’.

We’re changing the name to keep it real (we’re never silent, right?)

Quiet Club is a relaxed way to meet new people and have a bite to eat. There’s no assigned reading. No pressure to finish the book in time, to do any homework or say something smart. In fact, there’s no pressure to even bring a book… That’s right, you can come down and join us with your writing, drawing, deck of cards or your new favourite album you just want to listen to. You can even come to make new friends (and chat quietly)

The goal of these evenings is to disconnect from your phones, relax and take (guilt free) time for yourself. You will have the option to connect with others around you, but there is no pressure in this space. You can be social as little or as much as you like.

At the start of each catch-up, we chat, order food and drinks, before settling in for an hour of your quiet activity of choice. After that we socialise, or not! It’s all up to you.

6:30pm-7:30pm - Arrive, order drinks/food, share what you’re reading or just crack that spine and get down to it!

7:30-8:30pm - Quiet hour (like school, but different).

8:30-9:00pm - Optional socialising, or just keep reading.
