Handshake Speakeasy, concealed in Mexico City's Colonia Juarez, offers a clandestine cocktail haven. With a mid-century aesthetic, Bar Director Eric van Beek combines molecular mixology for a menu blending classic appearances with innovative, layered flavors, exemplified by the Matcha Yuzu highball's unexpected whiskey, matcha, yuzu, vanilla, and whey harmony. The extensive collection of rare spirits honors the past.

As part of this year’s Maybe Cocktail Festival program, Handshake Speakeasy will be taking over El Primo Sanchez's cocktail menu for one night only on Saturday 13 April, brought to you by Patrón.

Bar talent from the most internationally acclaimed bars in the world including more than 12 of The World’s 50 Best Bars will take up residency at venues across Sydney including Maybe Sammy, Dean & Nancy on 22, El Primo Sanchez, Maybe Frank, Little Cooler, P48 and Hacienda. With most events free to attend, it’s a unique opportunity to experience some of the best bars in the world without the cost of a plane ticket.
