One of Italy’s best-stocked tequila and mezcal bars, La Punta Expendio de Agave is a little taste of Mexico in Rome. Dimly lit, with a bar made of colourful Mexican-style tiles and stools stitched with colourful embroidered prints, it’s both vibrant and cosy. Of course, we had to bring the La Punta experience to Sydney's very own premier tequila bar, El Primo Sanchez.
Millie Tang, acclaimed as Bartender of the Year at the Australian Liquor Industry Awards and recognized as No. 78 in Bar World's 100 Most Influential, showcases her creative expertise at Brisbane's renowned Gresham bar, boasting the sole heritage license in Queensland. With a decade-long journey marked by accolades and global appearances, she continues to elevate the craft of mixology on an international scale.
As part of this year’s Maybe Cocktail Festival program, La Punta will be taking over El Primo Sanchez's cocktail menu for one night only, while Millie Tang takes the reins in La Prima on Thursday 11 April, brought to you by Herradura.
