Internationally renowned comedian Sam McCool returns with his brand-new stand-up comedy special: "McCool 5.0" — a razor-sharp, laugh-out-loud journey through life, death, and everything in between.

A finalist on Australia’s Got Talent, and creator of 3 world-first initiatives, he sold out solo shows at the Sydney Opera House and entertained approximately one million people worldwide, performing in over 20 countries.

After 'quitting his day job' at 35, comedy has since taken him to the 4 corners of the Earth. From Greenland to South Africa, from Quebec to Rio de Janeiro, from Bombay to Bora Bora.

Along the way he has had countless unique experiences from swimming with humpback whales in Tonga, climbing the Great Pyramid of Egypt at midnight, and surviving empty air tanks while scuba diving in Bali. This show will share such stories and much more.

Now turning 50, in the last decade he has gained 3 children, lost 2 parents and had only 1 career choice... to get back out on stage and make people laugh about life while ageing gratefully.

Blending his skills of accurate cultural observations, lighting fast audience interaction and a self-effacing charm this show brings the philosophical depth and human hilarity of a life well lived.

Trusted by global brands like Amazon, Dell, IBM, Qantas, and TEDx, and praised with comments like “truly entertaining, truly funny, truly engaging” and even “the funniest comedian I have ever seen,” Sam has built a reputation as one of the most dynamic comedians on the international circuit.

From corporate events, to cruise ships to comedy festivals, this show brings world-class stand-up with an Australian edge and global appeal.

If you like your comedy smart, fast, and provocative — this is your show.
