McFarlane Sugarcane Farm Tour

Alister and Helen own and farm some 240 hectares of land on Woodford Island, the largest inland island in the Southern Hemisphere, working with their full time Farm Manager, Luke Moloney.  The sugarcane, when harvested is sent to the nearby Harwood Sugar Mill. Meet Alister, Helen and Luke on-farm for a firsthand introduction to the NSW sugar industry. Get up close to some of the key farming machinery and equipment used in modern-day cane farming and walk amongst the sugarcane and soybean crops on the farm. 

Note: This is a working property, so please wear covered, flat shoes suitable for walking on uneven ground. Amenities may not be available on site.
