Be first off the blocks to get a taste of McHenry Hohnen’s 2020 Chardonnay release at a long table lunch with vineyard views. Set on the balcony overlooking Hazel’s vineyard in the cooler Margaret River wine region of Forrest Grove, winemakers Japo and Henry will be on hand to talk through their three single vineyard chardonnays as Dylan from Saltbush Dining plates up a paired feast. Red fans, know this: the afternoon includes a vertical taste of the label’s museum stock Cabernet Sauvignon as well.
