                                     Ranking Competition for Sabre Events

In line with the recent FeNZ policy standardising the number of tournaments which can offer Ranking points in each region, the Fenton Memorial Tournament offers  NZ Ranking Points in the Sabre events but not Epée or Foil events at this competition.

Standard registration $30.00 plus booking and cc fees available up to 23.55h on Sunday 9th June.

Late entries are subject to availability and at the discretion of the DT.  Last entry 23.55h on FRIDAY  before the competition (June 14th 2024)

‘Out of Town’ Entries

This applies to any fencer from the FENCING NORTH REGION who does not reside in Auckland.
If you are a Fencing North member who lives outside of the metropolitan Auckland area, please contact the organiser regarding a discount. 

Weapons Checking 

We will not be doing a full gear check before this competition BUT referees will be employing Weights and Gauges to check Weapons at the piste.

The start times below are only an indication. We will send you notifications of start times for each event when competitor numbers become clear

MORNING EVENTS

Mens Sabre (or Mixed Sabre                                  8.00 - 8.15am registration   [9.00 start]
Men’s Epée                                                               8.00 - 8.15am registration   [9.00 start]

If there is a separate Women's Sabre event timing may change slightly

Women’s Foil                                            10.30-10.45am registration     [11.00 est start ]

MIDDAY/AFTERNOON EVENTS                                                                           

Women’s Epee                                                                                     [12.00 - 12.30 est start]

Men's Foil.                                                                                               [1.00 - 1.30 est start]



Final Start & registration times will be notified when known.

Affiliation/Membership

To compete in Fencing North competitions you must be affiliated with Fencing New Zealand as a full competitive member. The FeNZ membership starts on 01/JAN  and lasts a calendar year. Please always sign up with the same name, otherwise we cannot find you and accredit ranking points.

FeNZ affiliation fees are additional to the competition entry.

PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to view the new FeNZ affiliation number issued to you via Sporty at the moment, but as DT I can access this number via the FeNZ admin portal.
