MCR Beginner Classes - Wed 21st October 2026

Melbourne Community Rope Beginner rope bondage classes facilitated by experienced instructors.

All are welcome from curious beginners to experienced riggers.

B1 and B2 classes are run concurrently.

Beginner 1 (B1): is our foundational rope class, no previous rope experience required.

Beginner 2 (B2): Building on B1 knowledge. Participants need a understanding of single columns, inline cuffs and basic rope tension, pathways and frictions.

While classes are generally attended in pairs, singles are welcome to pair up or self tie in beginner classes.

Class rope is available for beginners to borrow, and rope, safety shears and rope wax is usually available for sale.
