Higher education has had to go through significant transformations as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and then followed very soon by the release of various A.I. tools. While these transformations have been challenging, in many ways it enabled significant advances in the way we think about education and the role of higher education more generally.

Assessments, as a cornerstone of education, probably continues to undergo the most significant transformations. The ‘same old’ way of assessing and ideas around ‘well that’s the way we’ve always done it’ are no longer relevant, and important questions about the role of assessments are emerging and driving important assessment reforms.

Join the conversation as we explore the following questions:

What is the role of assessments in higher education?
What’s the impact of assessments on student learning, experience and engagement?
How does assessment prepare students for the world of work?
The role of feedback in assessment and learning
