Come and join us at Bodriggy, the first Brewery in the state to achieve Climate Active certification for both organisation and product, to learn about Carbon Reporting, why it matters to your business and how to best go about it. The session will cover mandatory carbon reporting, who it impacts and when. We will talk about what it means to measure your carbon footprint (Scope 1, 2 & 3 and setting boundaries), what can make it easier and importantly how it can benefit your business.

Paul Brown - Managing Director, Ironbark Sustainability

Paul Brown

Paul is founder and Managing Director of Ironbark Sustainability and experienced non-executive director. Paul has over 30 years of experience in helping organisations reduce the impacts of climate change. Ironbark has directly supported the delivery of projects that will save over 4 million tonnes of greenhouse emissions and $1bn. Ironbark recently prepared greenhouse emissions profiles for all of Australia’s more than 500 local governments.

Rachel McConville - Strategic Sourcing Sustainability Manager, Seek. 

Rachel McConville

Rachel is Sustainability Manager, Strategic Sourcing at SEEK. She has over 13 years’ experience advising organisations, government departments and communities on how to improve their relationships with the environment. SEEK has a target of net zero emissions by 2030. This target includes the emissions in SEEK’s supply chain and so Rachel works with a wide range of suppliers to support them to understand, monitor and reduce their own environmental impact.

Indy Lingam - Sustainable Energy Coordinator, City of Yarra

Indy Lingham

Indy has over 20 years’ experience working in the energy and carbon management space. Indy’s experience includes community energy education, technical building upgrades, retrofits, renewable and low carbon technical solutions. Indy’s role at Yarra as the Sustainable Energy Coordinator involves leading council’s activities in the renewable energy and energy innovation space and managing Council’s carbon inventory, carbon neutral certification and procurement of carbon offsets.

This event will have something for all businesses, small through large and will be of particular interest to finance professionals and sustainability leads.
