Join Meat Free Mondays and Zasha Mahini on July 7 for a plant-based taste of Pakistan!
Zasha is excited to share the magic of her culture and introduce you to some unique Pakistani dishes which you may have never tried (or even heard of) before!
ENTREE
Arbi Ke Patte Ke Pakore - Taro Leaf Pakoras: Taro leaves are coated in spiced chickpea flour, steamed and fried. Served with Coconut Mint Raita.
MAINS
Mushroom Karhai: this type of curry is known in Pakistan for being highly delicious while containing no ground dried spices besides black pepper. Green chiles and juicy ripe tomatoes give the dish its unique and clean flavour.
Baingan Methi: Eggplant delicately cooked with Fenugreek Leaves and spices
DESSERT
Gajrela: Carrot, Rice and Rosewater Pudding - a delicious and very typical Pakistani dessert

We welcome volunteers to help us cook for the event - it's a lot of fun and a great way to make new friends while learning first-hand about the dishes. If you'd like to join us, just select the $0 'volunteer' ticket option and we'll be in touch.
