  • A minimum upfront payment is required to secure your order. This includes a surcharge, a non-refundable cancellation fee, and a refundable deposit.
  • You’ll receive a notification before each payment attempt. You must ensure sufficient funds are available.

Event description

We're going out of 2024 with a bang with the final destination on our plant-based world tour for this year - Turkey, with Yeliz Azmak-Stevens!

Yeliz has an excitingly exotic menu planned for us:

  • Mercimek koftesi, spiced lentil balls
  • Saksuka, a tasty melange of eggplant and other summer vegetables
  • Vegan Cacik, yoghurt dip
  • Turkish Potato salad
  • Kadayif, a dessert made from shredded fillo and nuts

Yeliz has organised some very special entertainment for the evening, to be announced.

We have a feeling tickets will go fast for this one, so book yours early to avoid disappointment!

Join us at 3pm to learn how to make the dishes while you help cook for the evening. This is a new format with a smaller group, enabling more learning and interaction with the chef. WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS NOW FREE. Please wear closed shoes to comply with health and safety regulations, otherwise we won't be allowed to let you in the kitchen.

Or come at 6pm to enjoy food, entertainment and the unique buzz of a very "Waiheke" community gathering. All ages are welcome. BYO alcohol if you desire.

If you can bring your own plates and cutlery we'd really appreciate it, as the WRT don't have quite enough and it will save our volunteers some work.
