Join the Middle East Children's Alliance as we welcome Ali Abunimah, Lara Kiswani, and Samia Shoman for this special Silicon Valley event in solidarity with Palestinians who have been facing three years of ongoing genocide and learn more about MECA's humanitarian efforts in Gaza and beyond.

We're also honored to welcome accomplished violinist Basma Edrees and friends for a special musical performance.

Ali Abunimah is executive director of The Electronic Intifada. He is the author of One Country, and The Battle for Justice in Palestine.

Lara Kiswani has has been active in anti-war, Palestinian liberation, and Third World solidarity movements for over two decades. She is the Executive Director of the Arab Resource & Organizing Center (AROC), which serves thousands of poor and working-class Arabs and Muslims. AROC has built and led local, national, and international campaigns and coalitions advancing Palestinian liberation while also strengthening broader struggles for racial, social, and economic justice.

Dr. Samia Shoman is a Palestinian-American educator and Director of the Teach Palestine Project for MECA.

Basma Edrees is a graduate of The Juilliard School where she received her Masters in Violin Performance and Mannes School of Music where she received her Bachelors degree. Basma has served as Associate Concert Master of the Oakland Symphony.
