Media Journal Workshop: Devil Wears Prada Edition 🖤👠📰

Florals for spring? Groundbreaking. 

To celebrate the upcoming release of The Devil Wears Prada 2, bring your journal and settle in for a cosy session of media journaling — where we turn the shows and movies we love into collaged, layered journal spreads. 

Hosted by Bertie Ocampo (@bertieo_), this workshop is themed around The Devil Wears Prada – centred around the world of Runway Magazine and the iconic Miranda Priestly. The workshop will come with a curated table of scraps and stationery inspired by fashion editorials, quotes, outfits and standout moments from the film. 

Haven’t watched The Devil Wears Prada? You’re still welcome to join! There will be supplies and prompts you can use to journal about any TV show or movie you’ve loved recently. 

During the session, you can: 

• Create spreads inspired by characters, scenes, tropes, quotes or favourite moments 

• Pick from optional prompts if you want a bit of structure 

• Use our stationery table stocked with papers, tapes, stickers and collage bits 

• Take your time – settle into quiet crafting, gentle chats or a mix of both

You will leave with: 

• One or more finished media journal spreads 

• Custom The Devil Wears Prada sticker sheet and other stationery designed by Bertie Ocampo

• A calm, happy brain – and hopefully a few new friends to fan-girl and journal with 

What to Bring: 

Please bring your own journal. You’re welcome to bring any of your own materials, but we’ll have plenty of scraps and stationery ready for you to use.

The closest car park is at Broadway Shopping Centre, 1 Bay St, Glebe. Hours: 6am – Midnight.

Rates:
0–2 hours: Free
2+ hours: $11 per hour
After 6pm (exit before midnight): Free

Street parking is also available nearby, though restrictions vary.

Note: This venue isn’t wheelchair accessible. We’re sorry for the limitation and are always on the lookout for spaces that welcome everyone.
