Medicinal Fire Cider Workshop
Description
About this workshop
As the days grow shorter and winter settles into the Wakatipu, there's no better time to stock your natural medicine cabinet - and what better way than making your own remedies from scratch.
Fire cider is a time-honoured herbal tonic with roots in traditional folk medicine, crafted from raw apple cider vinegar steeped with potent immune-supporting herbs, warming roots, and aromatic spices. Think aromatics plus ginger, garlic, turmeric, chilli and more - a fiery, nourishing blend designed to support your immune system, circulation and digestion through the cold months ahead.
In this 90-minute hands-on workshop, you'll learn the medicine-making process from start to finish, leave with your own jar to take home and finish steeping, and come away with the knowledge and confidence to make it again and again.
All herbs, materials and your take-home jar are provided- just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm for plant medicine. No experience needed.
Your host: This workshop is led by Chelsea Gawron, degree-qualified naturopath, clinical herbalist and nutritionist, and founder of Arrowtown Apothecary.
Spaces are strictly limited - secure yours early.
