A Sunday morning exploring the simple, yet slow, seasonal and precise processes behind medicinal herbal oil and salve making!
Sunday April 23rd at 10:30-1pm at the newly opened workshop space at Slow Grow Project, Bridgetown
~ Learn step-by-step process to make your own medicinal herbal oil and herbal salve using homegrown herbs for topical use.
~ We will explore the medicinal qualities of the plants, and the basic techniques to growing, harvesting and processing these herbs.
~ You'll feel confident to make your own herbal oils and salves at home for seasons to come.
Also includes: take-home recipes, herbal monographs, herbal tea and cake*.

About the facilitator:
Tamara is a budding clinical herbalist, workshop facilitator and permaculture teacher who began studying & immersing in the world of grass-roots herbalism/activism/permaculture in 2019.
Her recent approach to herbalism is informed by
Health Science studies, as well as curiosity surrounding themes of
herbal ritual for a personal connection to land, and decolonizing
herbalism. Through these workshops, Tamara aims to highlight the importance of
learner-centred learning, skill sharing, personal connection to plants
for healing, community-sufficiency building, as well as the joy that
slow and simple home herbalism can bring to our daily lives and
