So many of you have been asking me if I could host a drum making workshop and here it is!!

This is a special calling for those who feel passionate about creating and birthing a medicine drum.

We are still working out the final price due to importing materials, but we have a date and venue booked!

Awaken to the deep knowledge of working with the Sacred Healing Medicine of the Drum. 

Discover your own innate Shamanic Wisdom allowing you to connect to the ancient art of weaving as you create this Sacred Medicine tool.

Allow yourself to be chosen and guided by the hide of the Sacred Animal that has given itself for this creation so that a new life can be birthed from the old.

The Sacred Animal and its spirit is honoured through deep Shamanic Ceremony and the infusion of Sacred Herbs, Waters, Crystals, Divine Love and Gratitude.

The Drum is a Sacred Medicine tool created to connect us back to ourselves, the rhythm of our own heart beat and the heartbeat of Mother Earth.

The Drum beat is the first sound we hear upon our creation within the womb. 

When we play or hear the beating of the Drum it guides us to this sacred place, the womb of the Mother-the ultimate resting place where we connect, heal, balance and nurture our selves connecting deeply to our own heart.

All our hides are sacred and superior quality, all tanned in a sacred space with Prayers.

Choose from Red, blue or natural deer skin, Goat or Kangaroo Hide for your Drum.

Each hide is infused with the magical properties of the crystal kingdom, enhancing its vibration.

Rachelle will take you through a ceremony to enhance your connection with the Hide and lead you in creating and birthing your very own Medicine Drum.

Her life expanding experience in 2000 with a crystal opened her consciousness to the wisdom of Crystal healing. She has now been teaching healing for over 20 years and offers her students her advanced knowledge in the healing gifts offered by Mother Earth and the Crystal Kingdom. By listening to your heart and learning the healing powers and processes offered by Rachelle, the Crystal Kingdom and Mother Earth, you will open up to a world of self healing, where unconditional love fills every cell of your being. Rachelle has been inspired by many amazing teachers on her journey of self discovery. At the start of her awakening she was deeply inspired by her crystal healing teacher Maggie Vrinda Ross, who assisted her in awakening to the knowledge of the Crystal Kingdom. Rachelle’s Crystal Awakening modality has been inspired by the teachings of Maggie and Katrina Raphaell. She experienced deep transformation and healing working with these teachings and from this has developed her own modality. Her Crystal Shamanism modality has been birthed from her own experiences in life and the guidance of her own soul's wisdom, earth medicine, spirit guides, animal guides, crystals and universal love. The Red Tent is a place for women to feel that connection and to offer and receive that support.
We want to help women to free themselves from the isolation of today’s modern world and find their tribe.

The Red Tent Aotearoa movement has the aim to connect, collaborate, and create a community of strong and educated women in a supportive & nurturing environment.
We establish community networks and support between women by hosting local gatherings, and events in what we call 'Red Tents.'

Red Tent Aotearoa is not religious, and we invite anyone who identifies as female from 11 years + from all walks of life.
It’s our hope for everyone who enters each Red Tent to experience a sense of belonging, sisterhood, and strength that stays with them from then on.

What is the Red Tent and what do you do there?
The Red Tent movement is worldwide and stemmed from the book The Red Tent written by Anita Diamant.
Red Tents are spaces created by women, for women to come each month and share their stories, relax, feel nurtured, seen, and heard.
There is nothing required of you and the main goal is for you to relax, recharge and reset. Each circle at Red Tent Aotearoa is different, we invite a different woman to share her story, experience and interest with us so that we all can learn and become more confident. Some of our themes in the past have been; The Power of Pleasure, The Power of Identity, The Power of Grief, The Power of Menstrual Cycle Awareness, The Power of the Spoken Word, The Power of Positive Touch, and The Power of Humility. Our belief is that 'Power-with' instead of 'Power-over' will change the world.

Who is the host and why does she do this?

We have many Red Tent Aotearoa trained facilitators across the country.
Each Red Tent is hosted by someone different. Jill Natalia is the founder of Red Tent Aotearoa and Red Tent Australia.
She is a Holistic Counsellor and Business Mentor with Conscious Consulting NZ. Born in Ōtautahi, Christchurch, she left when she was 18 and returned 28 years later in 2020.
Jill is a community-focused change-maker with a devotion to non-profit organisations and a passion for non-violent communication. She has dedicated the last 11 years of her life to starting, growing, and sharing Red Tent Australia and now Red Tent Aotearoa. Organisations that helps start and support the birthing of Red Tent circles all over the country.
Jill believes in the power of Red Tent circles to heal the women of the world and in doing so the ripple effect will be felt across the globe.

What do I bring?
Bring an open mind and an inkling of hope, and a journal to capture aha moments and your water bottle. A plate of snacks, some warm socks in winter and maybe even a blankie so you can be cozy. Bring an open heart and a longing for connection.Do I need to print my ticket?
No, we will have a list of attendees and will have already made space for you in our hearts.

What type of women come to Red Tent?
Women from all age groups, all backgrounds, beliefs, and countries. Women who are ready for a shift, women who are tired of the status quo, women who want deeper connection to themselves and others.

What time do I arrive?
Please arrive at 8:45am to be settled, with your cuppa by 9am.

We will close the circle at 5:00pm or before, but you can linger to connect and ask questions for a further 15mins afterwards.
