Hold a pulse of love and peace for the Earth and all its living beings.

Connecting with the great universal source, primordial energy or which we are all part

To make your drum is to get in touch with ancient wisdom.

Drum master Sergio Seibo Oppizzi is currently travelling offering this beautiful workshop all around the world and he is coming to Australia in September / October to meet this beautiful land, connect to the ancestors and to teach us how to make our own Lakota Drum. 

About Seibo:

Music therapist, luthier and musician born in Argentina, at the age of 19 he began the path of building musical instruments in different materials such as bamboo, cane, cedar wood, leather among others that allowed the search and development of the wind, string and percussive instruments. 

About the workshop: 

All materials are included:

Wooden hoop 44cm diameter

Kangaroo or goat hide

Bring: Hair scissors, apron, oils to consecrate the birth of the drum, blanket or aguayo.

Event will be held in our home in The Pocket - Byron Bay, first day consists of making the drum, coming back the next day for a tobacco prayer, consecrating the drum and learning songs carried by Seibo. 

Limited to 15 participants, please make sure to book in advance to secure your place as we need to order all materials beforehand.
