    Karina Christie and Lara Estrella are excited to be coming together to offer a musical journey to open the channels for connection and our heart's expression. 

    This will be a sweet evening of music medicine, to embraced and nourished by the Spirit of the forest, the waters and the benevolent forces of universal love and peace. We will be singing songs from different wisdom traditions mostly from Brazil and also original songs of our own inspired by these nature traditions. We will commune with cacao to open the hearts and gather in intentional prayer.

    About the facilitators:

    Karina is a multidisciplinary creative, experienced and trained in various movement arts, therapies, counselling modalities and dance techniques. Karina is passionate about therapeutic movement arts and musical medicine for awakening the Heart and Spirit. Integrating somatic movement therapy, embodied dance, sacred song and earth connected wisdom in her offerings. She has studied dance and music for numerous years in Brazil and various traditional folkloric and indigenous dance forms and sacred ceremonies from around the world, and is passionate about integrating the essence of the folkloric healing arts from Brazil, finding a deep resonance in the artistic expressions and that these traditions call forth in the body and the spirit.

    Lara Estrella is a holistic therapist and a deeply devoted student of ceremonial practices from different indigenous and spiritual traditions from Brazil. She is passionate about co-creating sacred spaces for healing through song, music, prayer and ancient wisdom practices. She loves witnessing the power that these prayers have in opening the heart, the voice and joy in people along with their unique artistic expressions.
