SHAMANIC DRUM CRAFTING RETREAT for men & women

An invitation for you to come and immerse yourself in a two-day journey, exploring ancient ways, wisdom and arts and creating a healing tool for yourself.

The week-end will revolve around the crafting of your medicine drum in ceremonial space - allowing a time of profound connection to your inner voice & creativity, and deep nourishment.

WHAT IS A MEDICINE DRUM?

One of the first known instruments, the drum has been used in ritual, celebration, healing and shamanic journeying for thousands of years in most cultures on the planet. It is woven to spirituality throughout history. It is a symbol of creative union of the feminine & the masculine – a round container and a beater, which when joined together create sound & vibrate life.

Making a drum is entering a process of personal empowerment and healing. Insights and understandings arise.
Through the process of weaving the medicine of your drum, you clarify your vision & your purpose.

Building your own drum is a shamanic experience that will take you on a deep, beautiful & transformative journey.

What participants say about it:

“This retreat was a profound healing experience. Building and birthing your own medicine drum is an initiation. Milene holds the most sacred space whilst weaving in beautiful ritual and song, the entire process felt held with such presence and guided with ancient wisdom.
Beating my drum for the first time was a moment of remembering, a deep connection to my soul and to all the women who have drummed before me.
Thank you Milene for sharing this important work, for those standing on this earth right now ready to rise to the call and to find their own unique rhythm. Together we will rise!” Sarah Cargill

"The medicine Milene shared during this weekend was so deep, loving and expansive. We only got a taste of what she can offer and it is a testament to the lifelong work that she has cultivated.
This beautiful circle we have created is just the beginning of our journey. Thank you for this space to create and grow."
Brooke Brash

I honour your courage Milene, your commitment and trust in leading us on this journey.
I look forward to the support and accountability we will share on our unfolding paths of sovereignty and greatness, walking to the beat of our own drums, in harmony and love.
Here we grow... "

" I feel so emotional just recalling the magic of our circle. I didn't think it would bring up such deep feelings but it did, it has. My medicine drum is born, and my connection to this land ever deepened, ever fortified. Thank you Milène for holding such a sacred space for us to remember our own births." Alexis Sabatino

"My heart is so full with love & gratitude.
This very special and powerful weekend was the rebirth of my womanhood. It has shifted deep layers of myself that I have been holding onto and I am forever grateful. “The three days retreat with Milene brought me straight back home, deep into my heart.
I felt held, nurtured and supported in a very sacred and safe way. My drum is my companion, my reminder, my tool to lead and keep me on the path.
I'm forever grateful for this experience.” Charlotte Gaborit

“This retreat was beyond any expectations. Milene guided us and held space in a very sacred manner: from sharing ancient wisdom and ways, rituals to practical help with the making of the drum. I left feeling a deep sense of grounded peace, connected to myself and to a new tribe of women. This experience will forever stay in my memory. A story to share with my children. And the food was exquisite!” Cecile Dehant

“A feeling of magic, of meeting the spirit of the animal, a knowing that all is perfectly synchronised stays with me from this retreat. Making my medicine drum was a great revelation. It is now as a close friend that brings me strength and centeredness when I need.” Martine Pilastre
