SHAMANIC DRUM CRAFTING RETREAT for men & women

An invitation for you to come and immerse yourself in a two-day journey, exploring ancient ways, wisdom and arts and creating a healing tool for yourself.

The week-end will revolve around the crafting of your medicine drum in ceremonial space - allowing a time of profound connection to your inner voice & creativity, and deep nourishment.

WHAT IS A MEDICINE DRUM?

One of the first known instruments, the drum has been used in ritual, celebration, healing and shamanic journeying for thousands of years in most cultures on the planet. It is woven to spirituality throughout history. It is a symbol of creative union of the feminine & the masculine – a round container and a beater, which when joined together create sound & vibrate life.

Making a drum is entering a process of personal empowerment and healing. Insights and understandings arise.
Through the process of weaving the medicine of your drum, you clarify your vision & your purpose.

Building your own drum is a shamanic experience that will take you on a deep, beautiful & transformative journey.

THE OFFER:

• Create your own healing tool by building your medicine drum.

• Experience the meditative art of Tea Ceremony.

• Be led through a Sattva Himalayan Breathwork & Kriya Journey.

• Sit in sharing circles.

• Be guided into a shamanic drum journey.

• Learn sacred songs to take home with you.

• Learn about the healing properties of sound & the frequency of the drum.

• Formulating a clear intention.

We will explore topics such as:
• the imprint of your own birth on your creative power.

• astrology of the moment.

We will craft our drums with ethically collected grey kangaroo hides & let them soak overnight in rain water, under the moon light.

WHEN: Saturday 25th of Feb 9am until Sunday 26th of Feb 7pm.
WHERE: twenty minutes north of Byron Bay on a unique property surrounded by river and ocean.

FINANCIAL EXCHANGE:

-$1000 to set your own tent on the land.

-$950 if you have your own accomodation.

***These prices include the materials for your drum, dinner on Saturday evening & breakfast on Sunday morning. Lunches on Saturday & Sunday and extra snacks are for you to bring along for yourself pre-made for efficiency. Teas will be available throughout***

Milène is a singer-song-writer & a musician, a practitioner & forever student of ancient ways.
Raised on a spiritual retreat centre in France, a mother of two, she bridges traditions, timeless teachings and life experiences, creating powerful containers to assist one through the journey of self-remembrance & love.
