A SHAMANIC DRUM CRAFTING RETREAT for women

An invitation for you to come and immerse yourself in a three day journey, exploring ancient ways and arts and creating a healing tool for yourself. Amongst women, we will deepen our connection to our own selves, nourish our creativity and empower our sovereignty.

Amongst different practices, the week-end will revolve around the crafting of our shamanic drums in ceremonial space.One of the first known instruments, the drum has been used in ritual, celebration, healing and shamanic journeying for thousands of years in most cultures on the planet. It is woven through history to spirituality. It is a feminine symbol – a round container that vibrates life.

Making a drum is entering a process of personal empowerment and healing. Insights and understandings arise.

You rebirth yourself as a drummer, holding your own medicine, empowered and grounded in your knowing.

• Create your own healing tool by building your medicine drum.

We will explore topics such as:
• the imprint of your own birth on your creative power.

• shamanic drum journey.
• tea ceremony and mindfulness.
• movement.
• walks and swims.

Together we will craft with ethically collected kangaroo hides.

WHERE: twenty minutes north of Byron Bay on a unique property surrounded by river and ocean.
ACCOMODATION: either sleeping in a small cottage (four beds available), or setting up your tent on the land, or organising your own accomodation.

About your facilitator, Milène Mahé-Bau:
Milène is a wisdom keeper, a song weaver, a ceremonialist.
She facilitates sacred spaces to cultivate the ritualization of life.
She shares ancient ways and practical wisdom to guide men and women on the path of transformation, to support the awakening to their true nature and ignite self-awareness.
