Medieval Fair at Hunter Region Botanic Gardens

Our amazingly popular Medieval Fair has something for everyone. Join LARP groups Battlecry Fields of Ashnoor, Swordplay Newcastle and Raven Guard for their group fighting demonstrations. As well as public archery and bandgun ranges, light and heavy armour sword and shield demonstrations, chain-mail workshops, medieval music, food, market stalls.

Displays by 'A Viking Thing', 'Medieval Field Surgery' and 'The Purple Knights'.

Dressing in costume is definitely encouraged! (You will feel left out if you don't.) Fun for all the family!

Some of our stall holders are: Alcapasa Rex capes and coats, Bloom & Brush flower crown workshops, Celtic Stag celtic jewellery, Evolva Tea, Jimbos' Metal Art, Raymond Terrace Mens' Shed wooden toys, Monsoon Desert leather journals, Pasionate Flame candles, Queen of Quirkz. LIMITED PARKING - please one car only per booking. We advise to arrive early, car pool if you can or, better still, use the FREE shuttle bus from Raymond Terrace (Council car park in Sturgeon St).
