While sound healing offers many benefits, it's essential to be aware of certain contraindications and precautions. Please remember that this information is not a substitute for medical advice. If you have any of the following conditions, you should consult your doctor before attending a sound bath/sound healing:

Carotid stenosis (prior to application in the area of the carotid artery/larynx)

Have a cardiac pacemaker, artificial heart valves, or cardiac arrhythmias

Have a stent or with a shunt

Have a deep brain stimulation device (DBS)

People with epilepsy

People with recent head injuries

Pregnancy first trimester

Detached Retina or Glaucoma

High Blood Pressure (not controlled with medication)

Cardiovascular disease including angina, previous heart attack & stroke

Diagnosis of aneurysm in the brain or abdomen

Uncontrolled thyroid conditions and diabetes

Respiratory Issues / Asthma

Epilepsy / Seizures

Heavy medications and/or substance use

Prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or previous psychiatric condition.

Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the last 10 years

Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions which would impair or affect ability to engage in any activities that involve intense physical and/or emotional release

People with clinical depression, bipolar or any serious mental health conditions

Dizziness or light headedness

Trembling, shaking, or other physical sensations
