MEDUSA II
Event description
After an incredible debut in the Imperial Basement MEDUSA is back for our second instalment with a line up of dynamic performances, sultry beats and a dancefloor to match.Â
Inspired by the icon from Greek mythology, Medusa, a story of power, feminism and a force against the patriarchy - Medusa is an event, specifically for Queer Women, Trans & Non-Binary communities. Medusa calls on our community to own your power and command your space.Â
This is a space to own your power, embrace your confidence and connect with the community.
Importantly, Medusa is a space that embraces Women, Non-Binary and Trans people equally. That celebrates the queer, no matter the label you prefer. Whether that be bisexual+, pansexual, asexual, lesbian, queer, demi or hetero for our straight identifying trans folks in the mix, and the many orientations in between. This is a space for you.
With a diverse line-up of performers, Dj’s and host, Medusa holds a commitment to ensuring all aspects of the event are created and curated by members of this community.Â
From the creators; a non-binary, queer person of colour & their partner, a proud bisexual woman, to the photographer and door staff, Medusa is an event by and for this community.

There is a lower sensory space on the Mezzanine level (behind the Dj decks) for those seeking a quieter space with low lighting.
Medusa welcomes community members to share further accessibility requests to ensure the event is as supportive, inclusive and accessible as possible.Â
Please share any accessibility requests you may have on the form provided and we will endeavour to do our best to support you.
