Accelerate your career and Network Like a Boss | Macquarie Business School

This year, we are concurrently hosting not one but two separate events:

1. Network Like a Boss - for MQBS2010 and other 2nd year students

2. Accelerate your Career Like a Boss - for capstone and other final-year students

Date: 12 October
Time: 5:00pm–8:00pm

Network Like a Boss (5:00pm–7:00pm)
A session designed for MQBS2010 and other 2nd year students. Join MQBS Industry Partners for a semi-structured networking event. You’ll learn and practice techniques for event networking in a friendly, supportive environment. We’ll explore networking event goals, honing your introduction, consider conversation starters, and identify ways to maintain new connections. The event is designed to boost your confidence and set you up for success to make a great first impression this time and every time.

Accelerate your Career Like a Boss (5:00pm–8:00pm)
Join a structured networking event with MQBS Industry Partners who will share insights on accelerating your career. You will be placed at a table hosted by a “Boss” (an MQBS industry partner who is an MQ alum or friend of MQ making waves in their industry). Every 15 minutes we rotate the Bosses, so you’ll meet multiple guests in a round-robin format and get focused time to ask questions and hear real-world career tips.
