Meet the artist- Bronwyn Davies

Meet the artist Bronwyn Davies in conversation with Joanna Goodwin

Bronwyn and Joanna have been friends since 1996 when they worked together on the Tamborine Mountain Arts Festival. Their children grew up together and their career paths crossed even when Joanna went on to live in Brisbane and later returned to Sydney.

Bronwyn's career went from practicing studio artist, to study of Community Cultural development, festival director, artist agent, world music business,  running a cultural department for Local Government  and completing a Masters of Contemporary Art. She has been an arts advocate, and representative on many arts assessment panels and advisory groups. All the while her visual arts and writing practice continued.

Joanna Goodwin has worked as a curator, sponsorship marketing for Brisbane Festival,  owner/Director of Toby's Estate Coffee, NSW Coordinator of Fair Trade  Australia and NZ, General Manager of Sponsorship and Production  at Sculpture by the Sea, National Sponsorship Coordinator  Alliance Francaise French Film Festival, Director of North Sydney Community Centre and Business Manager, sculpture sales at Sculpture by the Sea.
