Dive into local democracy at the forefront to shape the future of Sutherland Shire! 

Engadine Uniting Church, in partnership with Sutherland Shire Voices for Social Justice, is hosting a forum that will bring Ward D candidates and constituents together, to share policy vision and respond to questions and concerns from local voters. Local government elections will be held on September 14 this year.

Date: Tuesday 27 August

Time: 7pm for a 7.30pm start

Where: Engadine Uniting Church, 2 Chipilly Ave (cnr Cambrai Ave), Engadine

Come along to hear firsthand what each candidate stands for as they unveil their policy vision and field questions and concerns directly from constituents. This is your opportunity to engage with the candidates who may become your elected community leaders, and champion the issues that matter most to you. Step up and be heard in the heart of local governance.

This is a free event but RSVPs are essential, so please register! Tea/coffee and cake will be available from 7pm when the doors open, and again after the event.

Engadine Uniting Church is an accessible church. There are two mobility parking space at the front and a stairlift available on request. Gentle level access for prams, walkers and wheelchairs is available.

Ward D includes Engadine, Heathcote, Loftus, Waterfall, Woronora Heights, Yarrawarrah, and a small part of both Kirrawee and Sutherland.
