Meet the candidates for the Wynnum/Manly Ward PUBLIC OPEN FORUM

This open meeting is an opportunity to hear from all of the candidates for the Wynnum/Manly Ward in the upcoming council elections.

The event is free to attend and runs for one hour, although you MUST register online - you cannot simply turn up. This is due to capacity limits at the venue and to keep access to the meeting fair and open.

The format of the meeting will be…

1) A brief introduction to the candidates and the parties they represent
2) Each candidate will then be given the opportunity to talk for 5 minutes about what they would do if elected
3) There will then be an opportunity for questions from attendees

Questions
The meeting will run in a similar fashion to the Q&A program on ABC TV in that all questions must be submitted in advance (and will also be submitted to candidates in advance). This is done when registering to attend. Questions must be addressed to all candidates. If there is insufficient time to ask and answer all questions, similar questions may be grouped together and some questions may have to be missed. If this is looking possible, questions from earlier registrants will be given priority. Only one question per person.
