Meet the Candidates - Narracan

Meet the Candidates Forum – Narracan 2026

Who will represent Narracan after the 2026 Victorian State Election — and what do they have to say about the issues affecting our local communities?

The Narracan Meet the Candidates Forum gives local residents an opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking to represent our electorate, ask questions, and make a more informed choice when it comes time to vote.

This is a community forum, not a political rally. Candidates from across the political spectrum have been invited to participate and will be given equal speaking time in a moderated, respectful and informative format.

During the evening, candidates will introduce themselves and explain what they believe they can offer Narracan. They will then respond to three questions about issues affecting different parts of our electorate, including concerns raised by Kurnai Elders about Treaty and self-determination, the health and infrastructure concerns surrounding the Nar Nar Goon CFA brigade, and the protection of productive agricultural land amid proposed large-scale battery developments.

Then it’s your turn.

Audience members will be able to submit questions through Slido, with selected questions put directly to the candidates by the moderator.

Each candidate will also have an opportunity to make a final statement before the formal forum concludes.

Afterwards, candidates will remain for an informal meet and greet, giving you the opportunity to speak with them personally.
