Meet the Candidates - October 2024 State Elections

The Caloundra Residents Association is excited to invite you to the upcoming Meet the Candidates Forum.

Join us for an engaging discussion on local issues and the future of our community. This is your chance to hear directly from the candidates and make informed decisions for a bright future for the 4551 area and beyond!

All candidates will be invited - candidates for ALP - Jason Hunt, LNP - Kendall Morton, and The Greens - Dr Peta Higgs, have accepted our invitation to participate.

The forum will be facilitated by Min Swan, long time Sunshine Coast local, community leader and a respected member of the business community. Having experienced many political forums herself throughout her 2024 Mayoral Candidacy in the local elections, Min will be well placed to facilitate a lively and respectful forum that will empower voters to make the choice right for them.

Like the Oscar Inc Mayoral Forum earlier this year, we are asking community members to submit their questions prior to the event. This will help us to conduct a lively and informative evening and to avoid duplicating questions.

Please note, the deadline for question submissions was 25th of September. If time permits at the end of the forum, we will open for questions from the floor. So please bring your questions with you, in case you missed out on early submissions.
