Don’t miss Adam Szetela’s talk exploring censorship, sensitivity reviews, and the battle over free speech in publishing. When he interviewed presidents and vice presidents at the Big Five publishers, literary agents at the most prestigious agencies, award-winning authors, editors, marketers, sensitivity readers, and other industry professionals, what Adam Szetela found was unsettling: mandatory sensitivity reads, morality clauses in author contracts, even censorship of "dangerous" books in the name of antiracism, feminism, and other forms of social justice. Szetela's talk is a much-needed wake-up call for anyone who cares about the freedom to read and write books.

You may check in using the QR code from your registration confirmation or by providing your name at the check-in table.
- Where can I park?
Parking availability and regulations vary by location and time. Please follow posted campus signage and university parking rules.

Hourly and Daily
Hourly Parking: Hourly parking spaces are available throughout campus with rates starting at $1.50 - see app for details. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Download the ParkMobile App to easily locate and pay for spaces!
Daily Visitor Permit: Visitor parking permits are available for purchase here: permits.parking.fsu.edu. These permits may be purchased for $6/daily. Vehicles with visitor permits may park in any non-gated faculty/staff space as well as student spaces from 5:45 AM - Midnight, Monday - Friday.

IGC events are intended to foster respectful, thoughtful dialogue. Attendees are expected to engage civilly and comply with university policies. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the event.
