THE HOUSE
Based in the Grand Cru village of Avize, Frerejean Frères is led by Head Winemaker Didier Pierson, who crafts high quality, terroir-driven champagnes. Working alongside Didier is Rodolphe Frerejean Taittinger, CEO and co-founder of the house, a visionary who thrives on mixing innovation with tradition. Combining long ageing, premium fruit from the best crus and uber cool bottle designs, this house is pushing the boundaries of champagne making.
YOUR HOSTS
Kyri Christodoulou & Rodolphe Frerejean Taittinger will dive into the story of the house, founded between the three brothers: Guillaume, Richard and Rodolphe. Living between Paris & Champagne, they're the latest generation in a line of cannon-makers, who supplied the French army during the Napoleonic Wars.
THE CHAMPAGNE LINEUP
We will be tasting through six champagnes...yes six! We will start off with the Frerejean Frères core range including the Grande Réserve, Brut Premier Cru, Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru and Rosé Premier Cru. Our night will conclude with two prestige cuvées, the VV26 Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru and 2012 Cuvée des Hussards Extra Brut Premier Cru.
