Come meet Emma Goodman from 5pm-6pm on October the 2nd in room 537, building 39a at St Lucia. These 'Meet the Practitioner' events present both undergraduate and postgraduate students with the opportunity to engage with industry representatives and discuss career orientated questions. Come along to hear meet a practitioner and get an insight into their career experiences and advice.
About Emma Goodman:
Emma Goodman is an Assistant Director for Program Integration and Governance at the Australian Public Service Commission. A graduate of the University of Queensland, Emma is fast approaching 20 years in the Australian Public Service (APS), having spent time at Services Australia, the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and the APS Academy. With a background in social work and a passion for social justice, Emma has dedicated much of her career to championing the stories of end users in new ways to create systemic change. She strongly believes that a connected, capable and agile public service is the backbone of modern democracy and now works to improve the ability of the APS to put people at the centre of government policy.
