    Event description

Join us at UOW Shoalhaven on Tuesday 25 June for insightful presentations on the latest research advancements in health and healthcare.

Hear from UOW researcher and neuroscientist Dr Samara Walpole* from the School of Medical, Indigenous and Health Sciences, and Professor Andrew Bonney the Associate Head of School Research Strategy in the UOW Graduate School of Medicine and the Roberta Williams Chair of General Practice.

Samara and Andrew will present a comprehensive overview of their healthcare and clinical trials research, highlighting a future that includes personalised mental healthcare interventions.

This event is open to the public, and both presentations have been designed with a diverse audience in mind. High school students are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Each presentation will last 15-20 minutes and be followed by an interactive Q&A session, allowing the audience to ask questions and engage with the researchers.

Don't miss this opportunity to hear about this research and its implications for healthcare.

    Doors open at 5:00 PM.

    Presentations commence at 5:30 PM.

*Unforeseen circumstances have resulted in Associate Professor Katrina Green being unable to attend this event as originally promoted. Dr Walpole has kindly agreed to present.

As this presentation is medical in nature, medical staff may be able to use their attendance towards professional development activities. On request, attendees can receive a certificate of attendance. Please speak to our team at the event.
