What are Momos?
Momos are a social food that brings people together to share a meal and bond over their love for these delicious dumplings. In fact, it is not uncommon to see groups of people huddled around a steaming plate of momos, chatting and laughing as they enjoy the food and each other’s company.
Momos are believed to have originated in Tibet and were introduced to Nepal by Tibetan immigrants who settled in the Kathmandu Valley. Today, they are considered to be a traditional food often served during festivals and special occasions.
