Something BIG is happening in Gympie!
For the very first time, young people from across the local Christian community are coming together for our very first MEGAYouth event.
Get ready for a massive night of games, competition, music, food and plenty of time to hang out and meet other young people from around Gympie.
We'll be getting stuck into big team games, like Hunger Games, dodgeball and more, before finishing the night with a dessert bar.
MEGAYouth is about more than just games. It's an opportunity to meet other young Christians in our community, build new friendships and discover that we're part of something bigger than our own youth group.
Any high school student in Years 7-12 is welcome!
Whether you're already part of a youth group or aren't currently connected with a youth group at all - we'd love to see you there.

- What is MEGAYouth?
MEGAYouth brings local youth groups together so young people can experience the wider body of Christ.
MEGAYouth is a collaboration between youth ministries across Gympie, creating opportunities for young people from different churches to come together, have fun, build friendships, grow in their faith and encourage one another.
We believe that while young people may belong to different local churches and youth groups, we are all part of one body of Christ.
MEGAYouth isn't a replacement for local youth groups or churches, and it's not about competing with or outdoing one another. Instead, it's about working together and giving young people the opportunity to experience the wider Christian community in Gympie.
Our heart for MEGAYouth comes from Hebrews 10:24-25; gathering together, encouraging one another and spurring each other on toward love and good works.

- Who's involved?
MEGAYouth partners and collaborates with local youth ministries across the Gympie region. We believe we’re called to work together as the wider body of Christ, while continuing to strengthen the individual churches and youth ministries we’re part of.
Our heart is to see more young people know Jesus and be invested in Christian community. We want young people to be strengthened in their local church and youth ministry, while also building friendships, growing in faith and discovering what it means to be part of the wider body of Christ.
